OPENING DAY UPDATE and MORE INFORMATION

Opening Day 2025 ~ April 12th

Hunter's Creek Sports Complex, 1500 N Star Road

Please check-in at the Photo Check-in table with your team 15min prior to your designated time, in your full uniform.

Parents, please stay off the field.
There will be plenty of help to get your child through the pictures and around the skills challenges. There are also many viewing areas to watch the players.

Photos will be held on the East field and Skills Challenge will be held on the West field. If your child is participating in the skills challenge you may pick them up outside the 3rd base dugout after they complete the challenge. If your child is not participating they will exit the photo field at the 3rd base dugout.

There will be a Will Call table to pick up raffle tickets & skills challenge purchased online. There will also be a Ticket Sales table to purchase raffle tickets and skills challenge participation.

This year players participating in the Skills Challenge will receive a stamp to confirm participation. We are no longer doing wristbands.
Stamps will be available at Will Call or Ticket Sales tables.

Skills Challenge Participation - $15 online / $18 day of purchase
Raffle tickets - $25 for 15 online

***NEW*** We will be selling raffle tickets prior to opening day!
You can come purchase and start writing your last name and phone number on tickets during Team Basket drop off times. Every year baskets get better and better!

Opening Day is a great opportunity for a league to come together and show our West Valley Pride. We will have food trucks as well as the Sugar Snack, auction baskets, and help from our community high schools! Eagle and Owyhee baseball and softball varsity teams will be helping the kids through the photos and skills challenges.

This year we will also be auctioning one hour lessons with both Eagle high and Owyhee high varsity baseball and softball teams. This is an opportunity for families to buy a lesson for their child focusing on catching, pitching, infield or outfield positions in baseball or softball with the high school team of their choice!

These teams want to give back and support the kids who will come play in their programs. This a great way for our little leaguers to learn from these older players while also supporting our league. It is a win win! Dates and times to be announced.

Opening Day Ceremony will begin around 11am.
