Welcome to Coaches Corner! This is the WVLL landing page for our Coaches, the objective is to have this be a safe haven for good information. We value our Coaches in WVLL and our goal is to empower them to Coach the Game the "right way" and to leave these players with a positive, lasting impression of their time in Little League.
(We recommend downloading the Little League rulebook on the app store of your phone.)
Pitch Count - this is a critical logistic for youth players, if you have played the game or know someone who has you are almost certain to know of someone that has "thrown their arm out." Let's avoid Tommy John for our youth players by adhering to the rules ...these are in place for the SAFETY of our kids, so they will be strictly enforced and supported by the WVLL Board.
Pitch Count, Affidavits and tracking can be confusing ...while Team Manager (Gamechanger) can track pitch counts we are still supporting good old fashioned paper-trail.
Per WVLL By Laws: Home Team is responsible for tracking Pitch Count and for completing the Pitch Count Affidavit for the Game.
